On 15 May 2026, in Freiburg, Germany, Prof. Dr. Ying Zhang, representing Singularity Academy, and Dr. iur. Urs Lustenberger, representing SwissCham ASIA, met with Dr. Raupov Miranshokh and Mr. Bekhzod Abdullaev of the Uzbek Consular Team for German-speaking countries, upon the invitation of the Uzbek Consular Office in Frankfurt.
The discussion focused on future cooperation between Switzerland and Uzbekistan in joint research, education, talent development, business engagement, and cross-regional collaboration.
Following the Davos WEF 2026 event hosted by Singularity Academy, this exchange marks a concrete next step toward developing practical academic, educational, and institutional initiatives between the two countries.
The meeting also highlighted the strategic relevance of both countries: Switzerland, with its neutral position and trusted role in international dialogue, and Uzbekistan, with its central position in Central Asia connecting East and West.
Singularity Academy and SwissCham ASIA look forward to building meaningful cooperation with Uzbek partners and contributing to stronger research, education, talent-development, and business bridges between Europe and Central Asia.
