COVID-19 Pandemic as a Force to Disrupt Institutional Trust

This study is a commentary piece on the on-going COVID pandemic at the institutional and human behavioral level, focusing on the role of COVID 19 as an unexpected force to disrupt our current institutional trust, and the possibility to break through into a better institutional setup. Based on the existing institutional failures in this pandemic, this piece of work tries to bring the understanding deeper from a philosophical angle by introducing a Parental Love System. The introduction of this theory is important because it can be used to figure out the fundamental reasons for the humanitarian crisis at both institutional and human behavioral levels.
