Singularity Academy participated in Davos 2025  
Collaboration for the Intelligent Age Between Europe, Switzerland, and Asia

​During the week of the Davos 2025 WEF, Singularity Academy continues to contribute as a member of the educational sector and as a vital institute to share voices and opinions to facilitate talent development.  

On January 20, 2025, Singularity Academy had the immense honour of hosting His Excellency Tshering Tobgay, the Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Bhutan, and his distinguished delegation at the World Economic Forum in the Swiss Alps—Klosters-Davos.

Prime Minister Tshering Tobgay shared Bhutan’s exciting investment opportunities in sectors such as hydrogen energy, sustainable timber production, and education in hospitality, emphasising the country’s commitment to sustainability and innovation.

A key event highlight was the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between Singularity Academy, SwissCham Asia, and the Kingdom of Bhutan. This partnership, signed by Prof. Dr. Ying Zhang, President of Singularity Academy and Chairwoman of the Bhutan Chapter of SwissCham Asia, and Ambassador Tenzin Wangchuck, was witnessed by Prime Minister Tshering Tobgay and Dr. Urs Lustenberger, President of SwissCham Asia.

This MoU lays the foundation for collaboration in education, renewable energy, and resource management, supporting Bhutan’s sustainable growth while preserving its rich cultural heritage.

​On January 21, Singularity Academy's senior fellow, Mr. Ikram Sehgal, presented at the event Inspiring Pakistan, discussing the potential, issues, and solutions to develop Pakistan. 

On January 22, Singularity Academy hosted a remarkable event on the theme of collaboration for the Intelligent age Between Europe, Switzerland, and Asia event at the Morosani Posthotel, Davos. With strong support from Singularity Academy and Pathfinder Group, the event brought together an exceptional panel of female leaders to discuss cross-continental collaboration in the intelligence age.
